Most piano programs teach students to press keys and read notes. We teach something different β we teach students to understand what they are hearing, to think like gospel musicians.
Through the Nashville Number System and solfΓ¨ge, students learn to transpose instantly, follow a worship leader, and play gospel progressions in any key β skills most piano students never develop.

Pastor Β· Musician Β· Mentor Β· Founder, ZionKeys Academy

βFor many years, God has given me the privilege of training and mentoring young musicians who now use their gifts to serve in worship teams, local churches, and ministry.β
β Pastor Dr. Peter Saah
God has given me the grace to serve both in ministry and in music. Beyond being a pastor, I have had the privilege of learning and playing multiple musical instruments and mentoring young people to develop their musical gifts.
Over the years, I have trained and raised children and young musicians who have gone on to use their talents to serve faithfully in their local churches, worship teams, and wherever God has opened doors for them to minister.
I believe musical ability is more than a skill β it is a gift from God that can be developed and used for His glory. That passion is what led to the birth of ZionKeys Academy.
My desire is not simply to teach children how to play the keyboard. My goal is to help them discover their God-given gifts, develop musical excellence, build confidence, and become vessels that God can use in their local churches, communities, and wherever their talents are needed for Kingdom impact.
At ZionKeys Academy, we are committed to raising young musicians who will worship with understanding, serve with excellence, and use their gifts to glorify God.
"As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."
β 1 Peter 4:10 (KJV)
Eight pillars of gospel musicianship β designed to take students from zero to worship-ready.
Full keyboard navigation, note names, black and white key patterns β students learn to move freely across all 88 keys.
We teach the Nashville Number System from day one. Students think in numbers, not just note names β giving them the ability to transpose instantly to any key.
Singing solfΓ¨ge while playing connects the ear to the hands. This is the foundation of playing by ear β a skill most piano programs skip entirely.
Every major scale β both hands, correct fingering, with solfΓ¨ge and number system applied.
All 7 chords in every key β triads, dominant 7ths, and inversions.
1-4-5, 1-6m-4-5, 2m-5-1 turnarounds, and the gospel shuffle.
Ear training is built into every class. Students identify chords, find the key, and follow chord movement.
By the end, students are equipped to play in real worship settings.
These are the real, measurable skills students develop through structured training at ZionKeys Academy.
No sheet music required β students learn to listen and play.

My daughter has grown so much in just 3 months. She can now play songs by ear and understands the number system. This academy is a blessing!
The gospel-focused approach is exactly what we were looking for. My son loves his Saturday classes and practices all week long.
I was skeptical about the number system, but after seeing my daughter play in all 12 keys, I'm a believer. Best investment in her musical education!
The small class size and personalized attention have made all the difference. My child went from knowing nothing to playing full songs in weeks.
