More Than Piano Lessons
Most piano programs teach students to press keys and read notes. We teach something different — we teach students to understand what they are hearing, to think like gospel musicians.
Through the Nashville Number System and solfège, students learn to transpose instantly, follow a worship leader, and play gospel progressions in any key — skills most piano students never develop.

God has given me the grace to serve both in ministry and in music. Beyond being a pastor, I have had the privilege of learning and playing multiple musical instruments and mentoring young people to develop their musical gifts.
Over the years, I have trained and raised children and young musicians who have gone on to use their talents to serve faithfully in their local churches, worship teams, and wherever God has opened doors for them to minister.
I believe musical ability is more than a skill — it is a gift from God that can be developed and used for His glory. That passion is what led to the birth of ZionKeys Academy.
My desire is not simply to teach children how to play the keyboard. My goal is to help them discover their God-given gifts, develop musical excellence, build confidence, and become vessels that God can use in their local churches, communities, and wherever their talents are needed for Kingdom impact.

Piano Keyboard Mastery
Full keyboard navigation, note names, black and white key patterns — students learn to move freely across all 88 keys.
Number System
We teach the Nashville Number System from day one. Students think in numbers, not just note names — giving them the ability to transpose instantly to any key.
Solfège (Do Re Mi)
Singing solfège while playing connects the ear to the hands. This is the foundation of playing by ear — a skill most piano programs skip entirely.
All 12 Major Scales
Every major scale — both hands, correct fingering, with solfège and number system applied.
Chords in Every Key
All 7 chords in every key — triads, dominant 7ths, and inversions.
Gospel Progressions
1-4-5, 1-6m-4-5, 2m-5-1 turnarounds, and the gospel shuffle.
Playing By Ear
Ear training is built into every class. Students identify chords, find the key, and follow chord movement.
Live Worship Application
By the end, students are equipped to play in real worship settings.

ZionKeys Academy accepts students aged 7 years and over. Our curriculum is structured for students who can maintain focus, follow multi-step instructions, and commit to consistent daily practice at home. There is no upper age limit.
